Founder
ElevateEd was founded by renowned education expert Karen Yung, who brings extensive experience in global education. Karen’s leadership and commitment to educational innovation have significantly impacted the global education landscape, fostering creative learning environments that prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
In 1997, Karen moved to Shanghai, serving as the U.S. Consulate Liaison with the American Chamber of Commerce and later as Executive Director for the British Chamber of Commerce. Identifying a gap in quality international education, she and her husband, Fraser White, partnered with Dulwich College to establish Education in Motion (EiM), a global family of schools dedicated to pioneering education for a sustainable future.
Under Karen’s dynamic leadership as Co-founder and Chief Collaboration Officer, EiM has flourished, expanding to 14 schools across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and beyond, serving over 11,500 students worldwide.
Building on her legacy, Karen is set to introduce her educational approach to Palm Beach County, Florida, through ElevateED. In partnership with Related Ross, ElevateED is planning to open a Pre-K to 12 school in August 2028, aiming to establish a world-class institution with premium, high-quality facilities. The curriculum will be innovative and holistic, featuring unique programs to advance entrepreneurship and sports offerings alongside rigorous academics.
At its core is the mission to nurture pioneers who will shape tomorrow’s world through understanding, creativity, and conscious engagement with their peers, society, and their environment.
